Agriturismo Fattoria del Cerretino
Our agriturismo is in Umbertide in the province of Perugia. The farmhouse is located in the Alta Valle del Tevere, in one of the most beautiful and greenest areas of Umbria on the border with Tuscany. The hill from which you can enjoy an enchanting view of the Valtiberina is the ideal place for those who love the tranquility of the countryside, the beauty of nature and the proximity to beautiful places to visit such as small and peaceful medieval villages, castles, abbeys and country churches that they hide art treasures unknown to mass tourism. Our farm is ideal for those who love silence, family warmth, authenticity, respect for nature and the traditions of the Umbria region.
Restaurant
The typical restaurant offers a simple and tasty cuisine with typical dishes of Umbria and Tuscany with genuine raw materials from our own production or from nearby companies. We still make pasta, focaccias, biscuits and sweets by hand, cook the meats in the old wood-fired oven and offer dishes that cannot be found now. You can taste the mushrooms, the black and white truffle, the cold cuts of the local pork butchery and our white and red wine. Bread is traditional and is often made at home. Everything is freshly prepared with quality fresh food and every day we offer a different menu to satisfy the tastes of all guests.
Pool and Activities
The farmhouse has a panoramic swimming pool with solarium, hot water shower and a cabin / dressing room. The farm houses are surrounded by green spaces where children and guests' animals can play. A ping-pong table, a bowling alley and a large room with fireplace with playing cards and board games are also available, also ideal for meetings. The area is ideal for trekking, walking or mountain biking. In the autumn months it is possible to collect mushrooms and chestnuts. A sports center with football, tennis and volleyball courts, bowling alley and playground for children is 700 meters from the farmhouse. On the farm we organize cooking courses and educational farm activities.
Farm and Animals
The 20 hectares of the property are covered with woods, used for pasture and cultivated according to organic farming methods. Wheat, barley, corn, sunflowers and fodder feed the animals on our farm. Oil, wine and vegetables are used in our restaurant as well as mushrooms, truffles and chestnuts during their harvest. From the woods we get wood for the farm and to light the fire in the guests' apartments. In our company we raise geese, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, turkeys, pigeons and sheep and their meats are used for tasty roasts and stews. We also have 10 bee hives that make honey for breakfast.

The three houses of the farmhouse have been renovated in full respect of the Umbrian environment and tradition, obtaining seven apartments and three bedrooms. Wooden beams, terracotta floors, restored furniture, stone walls and fireplaces offer guests the thrill of a dive into the past without sacrificing the comforts of a stay in the countryside.
