Agriturismo Il Casale delle Rose
Our agriturismo is an ancient "baglio" dating back to the XIX century. We are in the quiet countryside that surrounds Caltagirone, in the province of Catania. The farmhouse is composed of perimetral buildings and a central courtyard where to sunbathe or have meals. The complex has been restored and now it offers nine comfortable rooms, a spacious hall and two cozy indoor spaces for conferences and food service. We propose typical recipes with genuine ingredients that directly came from our farm. Our guests can experience various open air activities as horse rides, bike tours, archery and trekking.

Restaurant
The restaurant hall, characterized by Sicilian cotto tile floor, has been obtained from an ancient stable and it is provided with heating and air conditioning. The tasty Mediterranean cuisine proposes rich entrees that exalt our biologic productions, first courses based on homemade pasta and local meat second courses. Moreover, fruit and vegetables depend on the season,indeed our aim is to guarantee quality and genuineness. Delicious desserts complete our menus, we suggest cassatelle and collerelle.

Swimming Pool and Activities
The swimming pool of the farmhouse is a few meters from the rooms, along a country path embraced by trees and gorse. The swimming pool is available to adults and children and has changing rooms and deck chairs for a day of games and relaxation. At 4 km there is a riding school for guests who want to appreciate the pleasure of horseback riding in the greenery. Walks and riding lessons are available only with advance booking of at least one week.

At the guests disposal spacious shaded car park, even suitable for campers. Our farmhouse is a perfect solution for families with children, indeed we make available baby sitting service and a cozy playground area surrounded by the nature. Expert and qualified staff can entertain the children while their parents spend pleasant moments of relax.

Didactic Farm
Our didactic farm rises from an educational project that deals with schools and organized groups. The rural activities represent a contact point between the cities and the countryside and they allow our guests to discover the animals living style and the products origin. The farm proposes various experiences among the animals or directly on the fields. Indeed, you can learn how the fruit and the vegetables run over from the earth to our cuisine.

Rooms
The rooms are provided with poor-art furniture, private bathroom and independent heating. Our rooms are all different and they are called with name that refer to the typical products of our territory. The whole complex makes available handicap accessible ambiences, ideal even for children and old people. Moreover, every morning you can even taste freshly drawn milk, homemade marmalades, eggs and wood oven cooked bread.
