Agriturismo Fattoria di Cintoia
Our farmhouse dates back to the 1400s and is immersed in the green landscape of the uncontaminated Chianti Rufina hills. The structure extends along the Sieve river, is located only 30 km from Florence and is ideal for family vacations with children and for couples who love nature and relaxation. The country estate, recently restored with total respect for the typical Tuscan architecture, is located in the municipality of Pontassieve and consists of separate country houses, a sandy-colored pool with crystal clear water and a splendid view of the Val di Sieve hills.
Swimming Pool
The pool is a true oasis of peace and tranquility for those who want to breathe the scents of nature and relax in total tranquility. The lawn around allows you to choose secluded spaces and let your children play in the shade of pine trees. The pool is for the exclusive use of those who stay with us and to guarantee our guests maximum privacy and tranquility we do not accept external customers.
Restaurant
The Fattoria di Cintoia restaurant offers traditional Tuscan dishes accompanied by excellent wines and home-produced oil. Typical Tuscan and Mugello dishes, fresh homemade pasta, meat and cold cuts. Everything is skilfully cooked by our chef, a specialized pastry chef who knows how to invent and create exceptional dishes with the simple and natural elements of the earth. The table service is taken care of by expert staff who know how to combine courtesy and professionalism with the cordiality and cheerful spirit typical of Tuscany.
Activities
We have a path in the forest with signs, information sheets and equipped refreshment areas where, with patience and luck, we can observe numerous species of wild animals during the hike. The agriturismo is surrounded by meadows that allow you to take beautiful walks in the nature and to gather fragrant flowers and herbs. A few kilometers away there is an equestrian center with the possibility of horseback riding, a pizza restaurant with a panoramic view of the lake and sport fishing with carp. The countryside is difficult to access for the disabled, but the special hospitality of the farm makes up for the mobility difficulties of the disabled, who are therefore welcome.

We love animals a lot and that's why we decided to host your 4-legged friends for free. Being a pet friendly structure your friends can follow you both in your accommodation and in all the common areas of the farm. We trust in you for a responsible management of your animals in respect of the other guests who are on holiday in our facility. The historic center of Florence is easy to visit with 4-legged friends, so the dogs can access restaurants, cafes and shops anywhere without problems. Don't miss the walk on the Ponte Vecchio.

The rooms are located in the village and are the best solution for those who prefer shorter stays but with more services. In the summer season room guests can also benefit from the access to the swimming pool just a few meters away. They are elegantly furnished, with terracotta floors and exposed beams and equipped with all the necessary comforts, including heating, free wi-fi, private bathroom with shower, microwave oven, automatic coffee maker and courtesy line. The Rosa room accommodates 3 people. In addition, there is a large 25 sqm lounge with tables and a kitchen shared with other guests with an antique fireplace that offers the possibility to relax by reading a good book or planning the next excursions taking advantage of the fast Wi-Fi connection.

The apartments are a few meters from the pool and have lounges, kitchen, large bedrooms, private bathrooms and most have a fireplace and a dedicated outdoor area. They were created for a stay full of charm and the furnishings reflect the rural Tuscan taste of past eras. The apartments can accommodate from 2 to 16 people with the exclusive of the entire 300 sqm farmhouse, otherwise 25 people with the exclusivity of the whole agritourism structure and the swimming pool. The sizes range from 34 square meters of the two-room apartment on 2 floors to 120 square meters. of the apartment that hosts groups of friends or large families.

Parking is free and you can leave the cars in the various shaded parts under pines, acacias, cypresses and walnut trees. You will have maps and books at your disposal, transport timetables, up-to-date information on the weather.
