L'Antico Borgo B&B
The country house, an ancient building that dates back to the 1700, has been recently restored. It is located in the inner town of Caprie, a village in the province of Torino. We are in Piemonte, at nearly 40 km from the border with France. The house is composed of two floors, the ground floor has two connecting halls, while at the first there are three rooms with private bathroom. The common hall is an ideal place where to relax in front of the fireplace and every morning we serve a delicious buffet breakfast. Moreover, it is connected with a suggestive kitchen characterized by an ancient brick ceiling. The house faces on a typical rural courtyard.

History
The windows that face on Coppo lane offer a wonderful view on four ancient front doors, traditional works characterized by a suggestive arch shape. These front doors lead to typical courtyards and one of them is decorated with ancient sacred frescos. Moreover, a XVIII century fountain adornes the main wall of the house. It has been hand built and anciently it was direclty connected with the Sessi creek. Even in the parking area there is a little fountain with spring water and, climbing a stone staircase, you can reach our cozy terrace garden.

Activities
Sport lovers can experience different activities in Val di Susa, climbing and mountaineering, canoeing and speleology. Our territory offers various opportunities for those who desire holidays characterized by sports and fitness, there are mountain bike paths, trekking itineraries, gyms and paraglider centres. Moreover, a few minutes from the house there is a golf club and ski lovers can easily reach the numerous slopes among Sestriere, Bardonecchia, Montgenèvre and Pian del Frais.

Surroundings
Antico Borgo is in the inner town of Caprie, along the stretch of the Via Francigena that crosses the Susa Valley. Caprie is in the north-western Piemonte, at 30 km from Torino and at 25 km from the wonderful Reggia of Venaria. History lovers can admire the romanic church of Santa Maria Assunta, its cript and the ruins of the Eremo of San Giovanni Vincenzo. In the vicinities there are the San Michele Abbey, Avigliana and its inner town, the Precettoria of Sant'Antonio of Ranverso and the Certosa of Banda and Montebenedetto. Moreover, you can visit the suggestive castles of Casellette, Villar Dora, Reano and San Giorio. Those who desire holidays in the pursuit of nature and adventure can orgenize excursions in various naturalistic destinations, the Park of Avigliana Lakes, Parco Orsiera Rocciavrè, Orridi of Foresto and Chianocco, Rocciamelone Mount, Moncenisio Lake and the Chiomonte Vineyards.

Rooms and Breakfast
At the guests disposal three bright bedrooms. They are provided with balcony and independent entrance, double or single beds (on request), television, fridge, microwave, kettle with infusions selection, hair drier and courtesy set. The furniture is simple and we are a perfect solution both for families with children and groups of friends. Every day from 5.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. we serve a delicious continental buffet breakfast. It is based on milk, thè, coffee, fruit juices, cereals, biscuits and yoghurt. Moreover, we prepare tasty local products as marmalades, cheeses, typical sweets and homemade bread.
